LEADERS OF AMERICA.
APAPA's (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association) national internship program (8-10 weeks) is designed to advance, empower, and prepare college students throughout the nation in the areas of leadership and active participation in civic and public affairs. The internship program will provide participants with a wide range of professional experience with projects that involve critical skills such as: communications, marketing, public relations, virtual network building, primary research, content writing and project management.
The National Internship Program is powered by APAPA,
a grassroots, community-based, non-partisan, non-profit organization, APAPA focuses on increasing API civic participation through voter registration and education, civic leadership programs, internships for college students, and supporting candidates for appointments at the local, state, and federal levels.
APAPA has built a solid organizational foundation, with strong partnerships with many diverse communities, corporate partners, and government entities. APAPA looks to the future with a renewed commitment to empower Asian Pacific Islanders across the country to become the local, state, national, and global leaders of tomorrow.
